ID help pls! Large, hand blown jug
« on: May 24, 2017, 05:59:13 PM »
Hello
I am hoping someone might be able to ID this gorgeous jug for me. It measures just over 9" high and is quite heavy. I thought perhaps Webb but there are no identifying marks and I cannot find anything that's close enough (on google) to be sure.
Many thanks in advance.
Valsky

it looks similar to one of T/Webb's optic patterns  -  possibly fir cone - but not sure.            Keith is usually good at these sort of things, perhaps he might have the answer.            Webb's pieces weren't always backstamped, so the absence of a mark doesn't rule them out.

Thank you very much both!
I'm very happy to have that confirmed. I think it's a great piece.
Much appreciated,
Val
