Need help identifying these vases with signature
« on: July 20, 2017, 04:57:13 PM »
I purchased these pieces several years ago and  I have never been able to read the signature on them.  The first letter of the name looks to be a funky looking letter "T".  There's picture attached.....thanks....in advance.

Sincerely,
Troy Leong

Hi and welcome. :)

Can you try rubbing a little bit of talc over the signature to bring it up for the photo?
I can't make anything out.
Are these two seperate pieces or the same one from different angles?
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

As Troy says "pieces", I assumed separate pieces Sue.

Welcome to the board, Troy. The pic of the signature is too small to make out the detail - can you highlight the marks with something, e.g. talc or charcoal to highlight the letters better please? (It will wash off again afterwards.)

Your photos need to be around 700 pixels on the longest length and can be up to 125kb each so you have space to play with making them the right size for what we need to be able to help you.   Also a more descriptive subject line would be helpful for your future posts - see here for why: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,17458.0.html

Hello,
Okay.....I did the talcum powder.  Hopefully it's readable now.  Please let me know what you guys think????
Someone asked if this is two pieces.  Yes they are.  One is a regular vase....and the other has two opening on the top (see first pictures).

Sincerely,
Troy Leong

Much better size picture, thank you Troy, and for highlighting the marks. It's not easy to make out what it is though, let's see what younger eyes than mine make of it.
