Hi Steven,i initially thought Monart and found the XH pattern but the size is wrong. Then i saw somewhere saying sometimes there is similarities between Monart & WMF Ikora but could not find anything in my searches for WMF.
Thank you for your input on this.
Cheer Paul.

The yellow bubbles of silver chloride indicate WMF rather than Monart. :)
This sort of WMF has also been mistaken for Mdina, occassionally.

I've mistaken good bits in this colourway for Mdina in the past.  ;)
It is an unusual colourway, even for WMF Ikora. But it is one I've seen here.
Roy (mhcgolfclub) had a particularly wonderful piece, there was a long discussion about it.

It took a whole board search using WMF +Mdina.
If you do a search, you need to make sure you are searching under either the correct category (Germany, Paperweights etc.) or click on the whole board to search that, before you enter the search.
It did help that I knew it was mixed up with Mdina and was involved there. ;D

Hi,in my opinion, which most probably means absolutely nothing among the experts, the WMF pieces seem far more vibrant in colour and look finer in their execution. This piece is quite thick and quite dull in comparison. It looks more like "studio glass",if that makes sense.
Cheers Paul.

I've seen WMF that is very crude, thick and lumpy in its execution, and very much like studio glass. The piece I'm thinking of that I had, was a really unusual and scarce one, yellow with the white crizzle pattern on it, called Medusa. I was incredibly surprised to find out it really was something good.
I think yours just isn't as nice as Roy's was. That was a spectacular piece. ;D
