Thanks Anne, I see what you mean, after looking at your boards and for the various reasons you have mentioned VSL does seems less likely.

Need to consider some alternatives.

Great pictures John, I found this on ebay, bored at work just, much smaller but similar, I'm guessing it's a popular shape.

True, it is a popular shape, I used to have a serving bowl along with a bunch of small dishes with the same shape and curly feet, all were plain and uncut.
