Hello all!  I secured some new/old stock including glasses, a decanter and glass ice bucket.  They're frosted glass with the original sticker which says 'Made in Italy' and a logo I don't recognize - but the bottom of the glass says 'France' '11'.  I've attached pics.

I'd really appreciate any help in identifying these pieces/logo!  Thank you in advance  :D

Hi and welcome to the board. My supposition would be that the glass itself is made by one of the big French glasshouses, e.g. Durand or similar, and then shipped to Italy where it is decorated by an Italian company who then applied the label. The Made in Italy therefore would refer to the decoration not the glass... it's called being economical with the truth!  Alternatively, labels may have been migrated from elsewhere. It happens, sadly sometimes deliberately, sometimes by chance.

I don't actually think it's being economical with the truth; the finished product was made in Italy. We don't say that about the glass decorated in Israel...

As the label says Made in Italy then I feel it is. If it said Decorated in Italy then I wouldn't.
