Caithness Stroma Bud Vase - Can someone help clarify please
« on: September 05, 2017, 09:39:30 PM »
Hi All.  Hope someone can help clarify about this Caithness Stroma Bud Vase.  Measures 7.5" tall, just about 2.25" in diameter at the widest part of the 'bulb' and weighs almost 500 gms.  As I understand the original design was by Domhnall Ó Broin in the early 1960's, but Colin Terris redesigned in the 1970's.  Also I've seen this colour described as Amethyst and Heather.  So what I'm hoping is someone might be able to confirm colour, date and designer.  Hope my photo's are good enough and any help much appreciated.
