Beatiful vase, odd sigature
« on: September 10, 2017, 01:15:18 AM »
Hi Everyone: I purchased this lovely vase this afternoon. It's about 11" high and 8" across. It has a nubby, almost icicle-like exterior. On the bottom it's marked "PCGSS 2006". Is anyone familiar with this signature? The only thing that comes up when I Google it is the Professional Coin Grading Service, which makes no sense at all.  ??? Any help would be appreciated!

Most likely GS is Glass Studio, and PC is either a place or a person. A US studio, I would guess given your location. Maybe somebody here will know the studio, but at least you have some ideas for a search. Sorry, I can't help further.

Hey Trevor, thanks for the tip! I'm in the Pacific NW, so now I just have to identify a glass artist with the initials P.C. I'm already googling.....
