Frank:
It says Men and Girls at the top. Just nothing for women though - yes I know women seem to like being called girls these days. It was very different in the old days of womens lib.
But has anyone thoroughly tested these balls, do they cause any damage etc.???

Used them for years with reasonably good results and no sign of any damage to glass. Don't know if that equals 'thoroughly tested'. I think we need more 'testers'. Any 'Girls' or men prepared to give them a go?
Anne E.B.:

Whoops - thought I was at Bingo

I use them. They shift stuff that can be shifted. No damage as yet. I'd be careful about shaking them violently inside very thin glass.
No better solution than the wick, apart from additionally rinsing with deionised/distilled water last, and turning the wick up-side-down after a while, to make use of the dry end.
