Krosno?

(1/2) > >>

Arvo:
I'm sure I've seen this vase before, but can't remember where and when.
Is this Krosno?

chopin-liszt:
No, I'm afraid not. It's contemporary Chinese, as seen in TKMaxx.

Krosno is a bit of a difficult area to define. It's actually an area in Poland where a lot of glass is made, but I think it can come from different makers.
I used to see plenty of labelled Krosno in new household decor shops, but then the labels changed to read LSA, which is an importing and exporting company.

Arvo:
Thanks, Sue.
I'll have a look there.

chopin-liszt:
TKMaxx is a huge household and clothing discount shop. It sells new goods that are surplus elsewhere, or ends of lines, or the last of last year's fashions.
It isn't a glass maker, but it does sell a lot of new Chinese glass.

Arvo:
Thanks again.  :)
