Thanks for the extra feedback, deep down I am coming round to the not British comments.
I do have a few items of nazeing but don't think I will have a chance to unpack them till the summer.
Maybe post a few pictures of the pontil marks.
Hope your Christmas is good and all the best for the new year,
Tim

Nigel's comment about Romanian from TKMaxx some time over 10 years ago, has tinkled a bell with me. That might well be where I've seen it.
I found very good glass there when it first opened. Lovely Beranek, Tarnowiec, and some fabby Romanian stuff. :)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

I've just brought down a very large Romanian vase I bought in TKMaxx a long time ago. (perhaps nearly 20 years ago? they used to stock good glass)
After cleaning it, :-[ I found the label. Romblast is the maker.
My vase does have the "typical" streaky strapping.

Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Thanks for the sterling effort Sue, my knowledge of European glass is not that great.
Will spend some time looking at images of the glass makers you mentioned.
Thanks again,
Tim
