Mod "Panton" Bowl Set - Ideas?

(1/3) > >>

horochar:
I use these terms in jest, supposing that's how they'd be described on eBay.   "Eames era"? Anyhow, these bowls are hand blown from thin glass.  I have to assume they're from the late 1960s to mid 1970s, although I haven't a clue as to maker or country of origin.  Can anybody help me?
Thanks,
Charles.

Ivo:
Oh they're much more recent than that, there's plenty of these around on all markets here. No idea who made these bowls, though. Factory produced in huge numbers, I'm afraid - as you might have guessed from the rim finish.

Lustrousstone:
Plenty in the UK too

horochar:
Thanks for the replies.  Oh well. Luckily, I only paid $5 for the set.  Not to nit pick, but by "more recent" are we saying 1980s, 1990s or 2000s?  Brand new?  For fun, take a look at my "Super Bowl," a pottery salad bowl on wooden base designed in 1970 by Michael Lax and produced for short time by Iroquois China.  I think the resemblance with the glass bowls is not coincidental.

FAB - love it!  That would be great used with a pair of Arne Jacobsen Cylinda-Line Stelton stainless steel salad servers  :D
