Engraved cognac glasses
« on: December 15, 2017, 09:53:51 PM »
An Icelandic friend inherited a few of these glasses. As far as anyone can remember, they're 50+ years old.
I'm wondering who the manufacturer is, and if the glasses could be a part of a series.

The glasses are 14cm tall, and there are no other markings than the crown and 'N'.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hello and welcome to the board. I had some similar brandy glasses with the crown and the N and believe the N stands for Napoleon (as in Napoleon brandy). Mine were made by Dema but I rather think yours might be from a better maker: Baccarat possibly, see here on replacements.com for comparison https://www.replacements.com/webquote/bacnapo.htm
