Lydia Beech - any information appreciated
« on: December 22, 2017, 07:49:31 PM »
A correspondent and I have been trying to find out anything about Lydia Beech who worked for a time at Isle of Wight Studio Glass. I came across one of her pieces on an auction site some years ago (I didn't buy it), which had the signature "LB 2000 I.O.W." Timothy Harris confirmed that LB = Lydia Beech and she had worked with him some years before, but he didn't provide any extra information.

My correspondent recently acquired a bowl signed by Lydia and asked me if I knew more about her, but I couldn't help. Here are some pictures of the bowl on another forum: http://www.20thcenturyforum.com/t21876-lydia-beech-studio-glass-bowl

Can anyone help with further information? Thanks.

Anton
