Daum? sunflower vase
« on: July 06, 2018, 07:30:51 AM »
Hi fellow forum members,

Yesterday I acquired a vase on an antique market with an acid etched and gilded sunflower design. The pattern is very similar to vases I have seen by Daum with a sunflower motif, yet the design of the flower petals and leafs is slightly different. Did Daum do a variety of different designs, or were there any factories following their design. The piece is unsigned, but the wear and technique of the glass suggest it is of the period. I'm very thankful for any input.

Kind regards,

Kasper
