I recently acquired a goose figurine as shown in the photos. It has a dark brown neck and the body and casing around the neck is of uranium glass. It stands 23cm high, is 31cm long and 8.5cm in width. It weighs 2280g. The dealer who sold it to me thought it was of Czech origin, possibly from Zelezny Brod. I think he was thinking of Miloslav Janku's work. But I am wondering if this is a piece by Archimede Seguso although the goose does not have the feet that Seguso often added to his birds. There are no marks of any sort on the glass other than normal wear and tear to the base. Any thoughts that you might have on the matter will be most gratefully received.
