Topic: Glass or Vase & Who Made It? Scandinavian?

Hi all,
I am not sure what this is?
The fact that the texture finishes before the top leads me to believe it is a drinking glass  However, at 550g when empty, one would have to have a good drinking arm in order to lift it again and again 
125mm (5") in height, 75mm (3") diameter opening.
I have searched and searched, and searched some more, but I am now at a loss.
Who could have made it?
All suggestions gratefully received.

I'm currently stuck inbetween your bits about; "If i think I know, I'll have a go." and "If I don't know, I'll keep quiet."
But... I'm not really known for keeping quiet.

Looking at the rim and the way the pattern eases up to it, and, I think the rim is not overly "blobby" from being machine heat finished, it does have some similarities with Iittala pieces. Their rims are nicely finshed off and very narrow. I can't see the actual colour of the glass to check that.
But mostly, I'm clueless, Della. 
How's Iain's drinking arm? Fine, I hope.

The colour is exactly as it appears in the photo, Sue, ice like & very much like Iittala, but I can't find anything like it.
Iain's drinking arm is fine,  but I don't think the glass would hold enough beverage for him.

The shape of the base is irregular, Iittala-like again. It's just the pattern on it that isn't, really!
Iain would just have to lift it frequently and refill often then. There would be no problem with his strength or stamina.
