Can anyone id this small shallow cased dish
« on: February 13, 2018, 07:57:40 PM »
Hi - hope someone can help.  I've had this piece for a couple of years now and despite numerous attempts to id have so far come up with nothing.  It's quite small (13 cm in diameter x 2.5 cm deep) and weighs just over 650 gms.  Very smooth on all edges with a central cased area of smoked grey/brown.  It has a shallow depression that starts almost at the edge and is probably about 1.5 cm deep at the centre.  No marks or anything to identify I'm afraid.  The base is smooth and polished and that's about all I can say.  Hopefully someone might be able to either id or point me in the right direction (I have tried many searches against murano, czech, scandinavian but so far nothing).  Any help much appreciated.
