Art glass vase Signature ID Help needed

Purchased at an estate this weekend. Cannot figure out this signature, does anyone reconize it? Stands 17" tall. Pretty cool piece. Thanks in advance for any & all help.

Somebody may well know, but not everybody logs in every day.
Normally, we'd bump a post after a month or so, rather than a few days,  :)
but we do not give up here.
Sometimes id's are instant, sometimes they can take years.
This looks like a fairly contemporary Studio piece, but I can't make anything out of your pic of the signature. You could try rubbing a little talcum powder over it with your thumb, to bring it up for the camera.

You can post 4 images in each comment. Just click on the bracketted bit which says (more attachments) under the browse button, and another box will come up.

I did think it looked a little like the work of Ioan Nemtoi, a great artist who is working on your side of the pond, but the signature doesn't seem to be like his.
