Glen, please I need help again!

BJB:
Hi Glen,
As you know I have bought two pieces of carnival glass, one I managed to identify as Fenton acorn, but the other, the one I thought would be a doddle to find, is driving me mad.
I thought it was Fenton Dot pattern, but the dots are smooth and the edge of the dish is wrong, so I looked at Westmoreland and although the dots look OK once again the dish shape wasn't there, but it does look like the comport. :?
Here is the dish/plate in question.

Glen:
Hi Barbara - I believe it's a Fenton item. If you read through this thread you'll see the link I gave to a similar piece in my article on Candy Ribbon Edge pieces.

Hope this helps, Barbara.

BJB:
Hi Glen,
Many thanks once again. I was so sure I was going to impress you this time and find both without help :D but not to be.
I did find the Northwood peacock and urn, only to get it home and find it damaged across the base, one of the casualties of that  auction.
Talk about "buyer beware"
Many thanks again,
Barbara
Glen:
Oh Barbara - so sorry to hear about the damage. Still a lovely item though (to be carefully cherished).
Glen
