Another of my brain cells must have died, 'cos I used to know what this was.... but now I can't retrieve the right image/info.

you should be so lucky   -  the volume of response for cut, clear glass, is deafeningly quiet, most of the time  .........   though I can't speak for Anne, and the lady may well know this one  -  which is more than I do.             You've forgotten which country too, have you?? - which might help.
If we suggested names such as Webb Corbett, Thomas Webb, Stuart - might you remember?               Lord David Queensbury (Webb Corbett) was very keen on these rigidly geometric designs.

I like the geometric style of cutting - so much more interesting than the usual very common crossed cut appearance  -  it's a design/pattern that occurred in fits and starts on odd pieces from the 1930 to 1950s  -  let's hope I'm wrong, and that someone does have a good memory.

For what it's worth, I remembered it as VSL, but when I looked at the catalogues it wasn't there! So I might be working with a a 'corrupted memory'.

well done John - glad to be proven wrong, again              The word cut, in the heading had me off on the wrong trail  -  I take it then that this is a pressed piece?
