Topic: Modern or old and what is it?!

Hi,
I picked up an oddity and some glasses today and would be grateful if anyone could tell me if they are unusual,have any age to them or any value please?
The first is like a little bud vase with an S on it. Approx 5 inches tall. The glass stem isn't hollow and looks hand blown ( in my ignorance!). Any ideas of its use or origins?
The glasses only struck me as unusual for having a square base and being rather beautiful.
The large glass is 5 1/2 inches tall and the sherry glasses are 3 1/2 inches tall.
They came in some boxes of stuff being cleared out of an antiques shop.
Sorry the photos aren't great, I nearly had to take them from the next county and cut them down or the files were too big.
I know nothing about glass and would value any input.

The S shaped pieces were plugged into the lower part of elaborate table centrepieces c1850. Squared base glasses were made by Baccarat and VSL as well as other continental makers, cannot tell from pic if yours are cut or moulded.

That's interesting about the centrepiece and the shape now makes sense. Probably an unusual survivor then!
I think the glasses are cut glass. I can't see any mould lines and the pattern is very clean and the glasses generally look good quality.

My first thought was for a wall mirror the epergne.
