Topic: Ekenas, or something else? - ID = Mdina

This lovely little bowl arrived today. I bought it on my own and the seller's fairly confident assumption that it's a piece by John Orwar Lake for Ekenas, but it isn't signed. Were unsigned pieces common?

The streaking, clouding and bubbling characteristics are different to the Nazeing pieces we own, but I know other glass manufacturers have produced similar ranges at various times.

Dims: 6" diameter; 2.25" high.

It's an everted rim dish, (fairly) early Mdina.
And an unusual colourway for one of these. There have been a couple of others posted here recently, they seem to be coming out of the woodwork just now.
It won't last. I really don't think there are that many of them around.

  I knew I should have been able to trust you to have a full collection of these, Greg. 
I've only recently obtained my very first one.
I like the one at the bottom right hand side the best, in your pic.

Thank you, both of you, very much.  Now, I hadn't considered Mdina, though I've often admired the glass. I haven't had the space in my brain to learn about a whole new area, but it looks as though the decision has been made for me!

And no, Sue (if I may use your first name?), I didn't think you were stalking me.
