Uranium Glass Diamond Shape puff box w/o lid
« on: September 02, 2018, 09:30:58 AM »
I have this pretty Uranium Glass trinket box/nut dish I would appreciate some help with. I have been told on several glass boards it is not American and I am out of resources to help I.D.  It is It is 6 1/4" L x 3 1/2" W 2" T. It glows without a black light and has a polished rim. Ribbed sides and pressed glass with a pattern on bottom. I would like to know the possible maker or pointers and the era it was made. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the board. :)

You've been told correctly, it's not American, it's English, the pattern is David (the earlier version - there were two versions of David) and it was made by Bagley glass in Yorkshire. See my website here for the rest of the set and lots more Glass Trinket Set info: http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms3/english/bagley/david-2231-1 (still a work in progress!)  8)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
