Uranium beads are not that elusive. Shine your torch on anything in green or yellow glass but watch out for plastic beads that glow. Here are most of mine http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/thumbnails.php?search=uranium+beads&submit=search&album=search&title=on&newer_than=&caption=on&older_than=&keywords=on&type=AND

Wow! I’m speechless, what a fabulous collection, I would never have realised that most of those contained uranium!  Although I do carry an ultra violet torch around with me on a keyring and covertly brandish it around in charity shops, for some reason I have never thought of shining it in the jewellery cabinets (probably cause there's usually someone stood over them). I learn something new from you fabulous folk every day, just off to shine my UV torch in my jewellery box... ;D
