Help identify my signed "torus bubble" weight please

I recently bought this weight, it is signed but I cannot read it, it is 3 inches in diameter, any help would be great. Thanks

Hi toffee66, welcome to the Board.

I have ameneded the title of the thread to hopefully attract more viewers.

However, I think it is by Gerhard Schechinger. See Info Needed on G. Schechinger Paperweight for another example in the Board.

This is a copy of a Caithness paperweight called "Space Shuttle" which I think was issued in 1981, here is a picture of it

The Caithness weigh has bubbles in the coloured ground and the bigger bubbles on either side of the ring appear to have points which meet inside the ring, while the first weight's bubbles are round and do not meet.  ???
