Green satin powder bowl...

Anne:
Having looked closely at this again it's very much like the pattern on the side of the Bagley Osprey vase I posted recently, which Bernard so kindly identified for me, so I am wondering if this is also a Bagley Osprey piece? Can anyone confirm or otherwise please? Thank you.

Anne,

No, it's not Bagley, nor is it British.   Almost certainly a powder bowl from a mainland European '30s trinket set.

Thank you for clarifying this Bernard, it is good to know what it isn't. Now to find out what it  is! (This is the story of most of my glass collection - mainly unidentified items!  ;) ) Out of my four powder bowls I can only ID one (Bagley Bedford) so far...

Wayne:
Hi Anne.  I'd also guess it was Czech, but it's very difficult to find out a paticular maker.

Anne:
Thanks Wayne, Czech it seems to be. It's now got a sister as I've just bought a blue one in the same pattern. :)
