glassaddict:
Hi again everyone,
Can anybody give me weblinks for Jobling glass history and patterns as I am trying to research one of my latest buys which I think may have been made by Jobling
Many thanks

B & M:
I have a gallery documenting some of my collection of Jobling glass here:

The best book on Jobling is 'A Collector's Guide to Jobling 1930's Decorative Glass' by John Baker & Kate Crowe, Published by Tyne & Wear County Council Museums 1985. It's not so easy to get hold of but your library may be able to source it. Alternatively, if you post pictures here, I will try to look up the pattern for you.

Hope this is of use

Steven

Many thanks to you both for your help once again. I have identified my bowl from the website link that Frank posted. I like your collection of Jobling, Steven particularly the fircone and ribbon fish vases

It appears that I have a large Jobling ice cube pattern bowl.

Pictures of it here: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g294/bananabons/My%20collection/Large3handledfruitbowlside.jpg

That one is, I believe, known as the salad bowl. It also comes in jade uranium glass. There is also a small one, in clear and jade, that was a posy. It doesn't have the down bits on the handles and can be found, sometimes, with a frog and a black plinth.
