Victorian Glass Pram ID Please
« on: November 08, 2018, 07:08:05 PM »
Looks most likely like a Victorian glass pram. Came from a large collection of pressed glass. I have not ever seen one before.

Had an old label from the last person which just said Greener. Its not marked so I cannot be sure of the maker. Has anyone seen another.

Length 5.5"
Height 3.5"
Weight 274gm

Thanks Roy

Hi,
What about Henry Greener - made salts somewhat similar to your pram ?

Can't remember seeing a similar pram anywhere but, for comparison, Roy:

Greener & Co. RD 218710 of 20 Sep 1893 - coal truck and wheelbarrow.

Your purple marbled coal truck - Heppell RD 351191 of 19 June 1880.

Heppell RD 359806 of 18 Dec 1880,  wheelbarrow.

Fred.

Hi, here are some of my folks colliery trucks, wagons and a small Pram, I’ll try and dig the records to identify them.
1st picture top left Heppell others Greener.
Bottom left Heppell then Greener then ? Then Greener.
I will have to check on the others. The wheels of Roys Pram look like Heppell sorry that the best at a guess.
Cheers Mike
