Kralik vase ?
« on: December 13, 2018, 09:15:14 AM »
Hi,I picked up this little 11 cm high vase the other day,it has the typical soft sheen iridescence of this type of glass with a lot of wear too the base. The rim is flat with a neat little bevel on the very edge and the base colour of the glass is purple.I think it maybe early Kralik from the turn of the century, but I know it could be tricky to pin down, any thoughts many thanks.

I don't know about Kralik, but the "neat little bevel" on the edge of the rim is called an arris.
I found that word in the glass-lexicon. It stuck in my head.

Kralik 'Purple Glatt' is a possibility.
