Topic: Need help identifying bowl/candlestick piece. Murano?

My grandmother purchased this combination bowl/candlestick in the 70’s. I have often wondered who, what and where it was made. The piece is quite heavy. I wonder if it was someone still honing their skills as there are spots of blue where the color should be smooth and the candlesticks are not perfectly centered although the picture doesn’t capture that. I still think it’s a very pretty piece but would like to have someone who knows something about glass provide me with an educated guess.

I would go with Murano too rather than say Czech, no idea which maker on the island though. Another photo from a higher angle would be good, to see how the candle holders attach to the body.

Thank you. I am using an iPad and it’s difficult to resize pictures but I will try to get a clear one that will fit. There is a glob of glass attaching the candlesticks to the bowl. I believe in the picture I posted you can see the blue spots of color where they didn’t blend.

John would Skrdlovice be out of the question?
I don't know anything much at all about them or Murano glass but just remembered that Skrdlovice (if I recalled correctly) did some double candle holders in two colours I thought.
Didn't a collector on here post a double candleholder from them a few years ago?

hmm, might have been Chřibská I was thinking of especially the colour but I do think I remember something a bit more contemporary

Thank you so much for the new clue! It looks very similar. I now have an avenue to investigate.

Skrdlovice would not be out of the question but a couple of features pushed me more towards Murano. The 'smooth' shape with the dent in the centre is more reminiscent of Murano to my eye, many of those Chribska shapes have extra ribs and such like. Skrdlovice did do a very pale pink and blue colour combo but not in this manner and the colours here are far more vivid, again more akin to Murano for me.

These are pretty broad generalisations though and there are exceptions in the following Chribska catalogue, I may well of course be barking up the wrong tree. Not had time yet to look through the Skrdlovice catalogues.

I've seen a bowl on Pinterest in those colours 'id'd' as Josef Hospodka for Chřibská

The pictures in these links certainly look similar. This is the first time that I have seen anything remotely like it. I appreciate both of you helping me out as I know next to nothing about glass but now am gaining some familiarity while scanning the posts throughout this board. Hopefully I can come closer to dating it. Much appreciate the information.
