Art deco uranium green, semi nude lady on curtain swag
« on: December 20, 2018, 06:20:47 PM »
Hi,
I wonder if anyone on this excellent forum can identify this lovely art deco style vase for me please. I have owned it for a number of years but be unable to discover its origin.
I thought i would find the answer in time but despite much digging I've had no success.
I would appreciate some assistance.
Many Thanks
Bryn

It reminds me of my uranium glass candlestick which has yet to be identified, have you checked out Schweig, Muller & Co?

Hi Penny,
So sorry for the delay in replying to your suggestion for the possible source of my glass vase. I have been away for the last couple of days and somehow missed your reply probably due to the lack of a Wi-fi signal.
I will immediately investigate your suggestion and see what I can find out.
Thank you very much for your help.
Bryn

Still having difficulty but did find 2 identical pieces, one on Etsy in pink and another on Pinterest in green but neither having any information on creator.

Hi,
Yes that’s the one. I’ve seen them in all shades but unfortunately no identity. It has a round glass ‘flower frog’ that is just like a flat disk with holes and I’ve even tried to find anything similar but sadly nothing.
I saw a Czech vase that had a similar design less the ladies and search but still no positive ID.
I will keep trying.
Thanks for your help.
Bryn
