Even with the easier to view image, I personally do not know what it says. However I am wondering whether it might be by an Australian maker ... just a gut feel based on other weights discussed in the Board.

If possible could you please show other images: Side and top views and angled view if that shows better details.

The pictures in the files shows a beautiful paperweight. Thank you all for helping me with identifation of the signature! Indeed, it says Norman Stuart Clark. I never heard of Norman, so your help is still very welcome.
