I've been doing some research this morning and came across Peter Layton's Reef range where the colours look vaguely similar...London glassblowing maybe...? ???

This is either a well traveled paperweight, or there are a few around.  One sold on eBay in February (Glasgow), again in April (Devon) and now there is a listing for one (Milton Keynes)...... But still no actual ID for maker.
