satin frosted etched abstract vase
« on: March 04, 2019, 10:43:57 PM »
Yes, I know absolutely descriptive title.
If anyone can help give a searchable name to  the form/shape of this vase it would help my search.

I picked up this vase from a nicer estate sale in the middle of the USA not too long ago.  To me it seems like it really should be signed.  I've looked all over but no maker ID.   I bought it because one, my wife and I really like it, and two, I love a good mystery.   This one has me really baffled.  :)

It's about 9" tall and about 6-1/2" at it's widest.  (about 23x17cm)

Any help is appreciated.

... and one more which might give better idea of the etching pattern -- sort of if Jackson Pollock dribbles wax on glass.
