Whitefriars Candlestick Lamp base?
« on: March 22, 2019, 11:04:57 AM »
Could anyone confirm whether this is a Whitefriars, Barnaby Powell, ruby glass candlestick/lamp base?

It stands 13" (33cm) tall and is 61/8" (15.5cm) across the base. The base and drip guard have folded edges. The base also has a raised area to allow for an electric flex.

It came with a plastic piece that fits into the candle holder to take an electric lamp fitting, although in this particular case, candles had been burned in it, as the hollow centre stem contained ribbons of wax (now removed).

Many thanks for any info.
Carol
