Hi all,

Looking to ID this flower paperweight with millefiori petals and bubble ground, does anyone recognise it or possibly who made it ? It is 2.75 inches / 7 cm diameter approx with a flat polished base. The canes on the petals can be seen better from underneath and are star shaped (pic three)

Any help appreciated as always!

Best,

Adam

Actually after closer inspection the whole flower is made of millefiori including the stem

Several examples of this design, with an "ice pick" type of flower over a "foam" of bubbles are said to be by Ferro & Lazzarini, Murano and at least one book gives a date for one as 1977.

Hi there,

Definitely Ferro & Lazzarini, I have seen a number of these weights wit their label.
