Not sure if this is a vase or a very heavy drinking glass. 13cm high x 6.5cm diameter. The crackle becomes more apparent approx. 3cm from rim. Tiny random bubbles in the glass. Broken pontil.
Before I unpacked its box, I had been looking at another thread about Jerzy Sluczan-Orkusz and remembered this piece. But now that I have it in my hand, I am less sure I've solved it. The amber with applied turquoise also reminded me of my Prachen bowl, but I haven't found anything quite as "rough" looking by Josef Hospodka.
There is a slight "film" or "fog" on the outside of the glass that appears to be only over the crackle area. This won't wash off, but disappears when rubbed, and then comes back. I wondered if the piece was dipped into something to make the crackle effect.
