Italian hammered effect, conical, clear glass, sundae
« on: June 12, 2019, 03:42:42 PM »
I identified these a while ago, but the piece of paper has gone missing in the move.  Now I cannot find them anywhere  ::).  From memory, I thought Empoli or Fidenza…… but still cannot find them.

17cm high, made in a three part mould which forms three shallow grooves down the sides.  Hammered effect, with a row of spaced, small prunts towards the top.  Embossed ITALY with a mould number on each - all different.

Thank you
Cat 😺

Not Fidenza.
Pretty sure "BORGONOVO"

That's a new one for me - thank you.  I see from other posts you've been on a bit of a Borgonovo roll!

I can only find one link and it's for two blue ones that do not appear to have the prunts.  However, they are the same shape and hammered effect.  Unfortunately the website is Korean, so I cannot find out anything else.  I don't imagine these are a rare item, so it surprises me that I can't find anymore.

Anne, how do you find all the catalogues?  There is a Vincenza Magiabevi that is the right size, but very hard to make out any details on the image.  I'm happy that they are Borgonovo, probably a slightly older model of what appears to be a staple in their range.  Thanks as always.
