Blue crystal powder bowl with cut floral design
« on: July 12, 2019, 11:40:44 AM »
I think this is a powder bowl as it is 13.5cm dia., but it could be a bonbon.

Base is flat with no pontil mark at all.  Nice wear marks.  Rims to base and lid are 3mm, flat, and polished with slight bevels on inner and outer aspects.

Base has three small cut foliage patterns to the body.  Lid has cut floral/foliage pattern - possibly sunflowers.

I used to think Bohemian but, now that I've got it out of the box and had another look, I'm wondering if it might be British.

The black in the cuts is caused by shadow not dirt!
