Broadfield House Tankard question.
« on: July 19, 2019, 04:33:43 PM »
Half pint pressed glass, I presume sold at the museum in the gift shop, it's marked 'Tudor' and 'Dema'  , I'm aware of Dema pressed glass, question is is 'Tudor' the 'pattern' or was there a connection to Tudor crystal, just wondered  ::) ;D ;D

Checking the dates Tudor stopped/closed and Dema started doing pressed stuff like this might help sort this out?
I would suspect it's just a name.  :)

:o There is no section on Tudor in Nigel's "Art Deco to Post Modernism".  :'( :'( :'(
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Given the number of tankards with varying decals on them that turn up if you put dema "tudor" pattern into a Google search box, I'd say Tudor is the shape name, Keith.
