Mid 19th Century Decanter or dresser bottle need help identifying maker, yr

Found this beauty at my favorite charity shop.  It stands about 8.5" tall.  I think that it's American but not sure.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I've been searching for months trying to find anything like it.  Thanks so very much for looking!
