Please could anyone tell me anything about this weight, it has some fine scratches to the base suggesting there might be some age.

Please post a picture of the base, and a profile picture of the shape.

I've seen square canes in Perthshire and Clichy weights but, from the picture, yours does not appear to be of the same quality.

As you may know, there are a lot of paperweights coming in from China.  Fortunately, there are more knowledgeable members on the board, and I look forward to finding out more!
