OOH! Very much like mine, except yours has a shorter foot stem and the rim is "pan shaped" instead of "down curved".  :)

What is the size of yours, Keith?

These vases feel nice with the frosted surface :) Photo of my blue one that I thought maybe from the same family, blue one 10 inches tall and one piece.

Keith, KevinH, and Flying Free, do you think yours are definitely acid etched or could mechanical abrasion be a possibility? I think Legsy reckoned acid etching but Flying Free noted the texture on his possibly being different from acid etched pieces?

I have not knowingly seen "machine-frosting" on glass, but I think my vase was acid treated.

Incidentally, with a stong magnifyer, I can see several "untreated" spots in various places. Some of those could even be "dings".

Thanks for looking KevinH, I should apologise for being like a dog with a bone on this, but I have a background in engineering and I had thought about the frosting on this vase since I got it a year or two ago. With my back ground, it looks mechanical, and I can’t see a problem with that technique. I have a lathe and was thinking of experimenting with marmalade jars (I get through a lot) and see if I can replicate the finish.  :)
