Can you help ID a paperweight just from a description?
« on: November 25, 2019, 09:54:02 PM »
Hello, I don't know if it is possible but does anyone have an idea or a picture if possible please. I am trying to find out the name or a picture of a paperweight that my wife's grandfather used to have. I am sorry I have no picture and I realize how much of an impossible task I am asking.
We believe that it was Caithness Millefiori, and from my wife's description it was tightly packed with what could be described as flowers that were colored blue outer circles with white filling and a small red center.

Any help and information will be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Welcome to the board, I'm afraid your description is too vague to guess at, your best bet would be to follow the link below to the Scotlands glass website Caithness section. If you scroll down you will find images sorted by year some years with multiple pages. You may be able to find your paperweight there.

Good luck
Nick
