Murano glass duck/swan amber/green Seguso/Cenedese unsure???
« on: January 10, 2020, 03:59:47 PM »
Lovely little characterful duckling or swan possibly? has
a wing casing which comes around to a nice plump bushel
or bottom at the rear quite quite :) the gloopy? color transitions
into one another and where the body is at its thickest actually
swirls into one another i have read this maybe a sign of decent
quality manufacture is this true? The bill has a little blob on the end
similar to a real duck and seems a well made piece have searched on
glass zoo and similar colors are by seguso or cenedese would love to
be able to date with the manufacturer of course i also purchased a three
color kidney shape bowl which has identical coloring with the addition of
azure the lady i bought them from said she purchased them in Italy in the 60's??
Thank you for looking Dan

I don't know Dan.......you didn't give any measurements 😹

I'm finding it quite a challenge trying to identify birds without marks or labels.  The eye on yours appear very similar to the ones on my duck

But the longer neck on yours makes me wonder if it's a swan.

Similarities with this one and with Craig's in one of the links, not much help though even with a label:
