What a terrible description......but I struggled to come up with anything more helpful for this one.  Currently away from home, so no measurements to hand.  Must be around 11" tall.  Moulded.  The base has some vague log effect irregular circles (from memory).  Thought it was distinctive enough to risk posting it.  Feels Scandinavian.  I think there are some tumblers of different sizes in an as yet unpacked  box somewhere.
