Hello folks.
Have got this thistle paperweight. Thistle is raised in the glass and sits above a blue cushion with evenly placed bubbles. Now, the base has a very tiny mark. It is a white oval with serated edges and in the centre are the letters DM. The white oval is in the centre of the base. And as stated, is VERY tiny. I've trawled Google but can't find anything. I wondered if it coud be Dino Martens. The weight does have a Murano-ish look I suppose. The leaves have speckled gold running along them. Any one have any ideas? Thank you for any help.

I've done a bit more Googling. Could this be a Manson paperweight? The little white oval or cane in the base contains DM, not WM. I found a paperweight by Manson online with a little white cane in the base but can't read what's in it as it's too small. The thistle design would fit in with the Scottish origin but I can't find any reference to DM. Also, there isn't a signature on the base either or any other writing.

Ooh Nick, you got in before me.  ;)
DM for Dave Moir.
(I met him at the Perth Conference, he gave a lovely talk there. I won't ever forget him.)
