Ahlefeldt Laurvig
« on: February 08, 2020, 10:39:01 AM »
Hello, can anyone give information about the attached glass vase. It has a sticker which says AHLEFELDT LAURVIG. It is signed on the base MAL. It is blue glass with copper coloured flecks It stands 24cms tall, diameter 6cm top, 7cm bottom. Weighs 927g. I know he is a Swedish artist  but cannot find much reference to his glass work. Is it collectable, rare etc? Thanks.

He has a facebook page.

Full name is Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig. I had wondered if the "mal" on the bottom might refer to the Swedish company, Maleras, but he doesn't seem to have been involved with them.
It looks to be an attractive and well made piece.  :)
