From the "Musterbuch" ...

The 3rd vase from the left, top row, Pattern 1369, contains the elongated octagonal panels seen in the OP's vase.

thanks John  -  though IIRC, you're not saying the Libochovice is a match  -  just similar?               From experience of trawling those catalogues, I'd expect, usually, to see a matching shape too.

That's right- not an exact match but simply details in common. Also they both have nine sides - a feature presumably not exclusive to Libochovice but not common either.

THe OP's vase is found on eBay from time to time, at least in a smaller size (15 cm). I've seen three of them in the last few days. The most recent is in uranium green glass and has 'TCHECOSLOVAQUIE' moulded on the bottom. This signature has been seen on vases definitely identified as Libochovice - although it might have been used by other Czechoslovakian factories.

This is a photo of a 15cm. version of your vase. I hope you can read it has TCHECOSLOVAQUIE moulded into the inside which I've read makes it a piece for export to France. I've just been having a second look but I still can't find a maker.
