the 3rd unidentified paperweight... any ideas?

I saw its bottom, elsewhere, and am hoping it will appear here.
It has the remains of a sticker from an Orleans shop. I had thought this might well be an American weight.
Steuben or Quezcal or something like those? Again, getting a bit out of my comfort area.

I was thinking American as well but oddly enough this one came from my first expedition to the Brocante at Lille and last year i found a similar one also in Lille....

So now I'm thinking French but Orleans could be in the US too....

I am not good at searches, technology muddles me. But I've had a go.
I used yellow, iridescent, American glass and paperweight.
I should have realised that Orleans is not New Orleans, but I'm desperate for this weight to be American.  Often American weights are signed around the outside of the base, on the body.
And signatures can be very faint.
The use of talcum powder or some ground cinnamon over a mark, brushed over lightly with your thumb is a good trick for bringing it up.

The next weight looks to be American too - but please, would you start a new thread for that?

We like a whole thread for every single bit of glass. if lots of different bits are there, we can get in muddles not knowing which bit we're talking about.

Everything goes in general "glass identification" until it is identified. After identification, a moderator shifts the whole thread to the appropriate forum.

But paperweights are a collectable thing and category all of their own.
Paperweights all go in the paperweights forum, here. 
You're in the right place.

I had to go off and find out, come back and edit!
(You can edit your post for an hour after you have made it. After that, you'd have to ask a moderator to help. But the mods are lovely and very helpful indeed.
